Shaz, owner of Punch and Lola and the primary artist, started drawing animals when she was tiny and never stopped. She has been an artist for her whole life, and a professional for her entire adult life. creating a wide range of art for a wide range of people: oil paintings, digital drawings, children’s books, fine art, illustration and animal portraits. She’s been a gallery owner, and still is a childrens book illustrator, a fine artist and a plein air painter. She loves a challenging project and the opportunity to find creative solutions for any problem that art can solve.

She lives in an old house in the East End of Portland, Maine with her kid, her partner, three sweet cats, one bossy guinea pig and one three legged dog.
